Acumen Now Implementing and Supporting Sage Fixed Assets

Acumen Information Systems, a Sage Platinum-level partner who is among the top Sage 300 (Accpac) software providers in North America, has announced the addition of Sage Fixed Assets to their product portfolio.

Having implemented and supported accounting and ERP systems for almost a decade, the company is now extending technology support to businesses that want to improve their processes for tracking and managing fixed assets.

Paul Crompton, Business Development Manager at Acumen Information Systems, says the decision to add Sage Fixed Assets was an easy one.

“In the course of working with small and mid-sized businesses to improve their core accounting and operations with Sage 300, we also noticed that quite a few of them are fumbling with spreadsheets and struggling with manual processes to track their fixed assets and manage depreciation. Since Sage Fixed Assets has been the market leader for decades, adding it to our product mix and expanding the technology solutions we can offer to our clients seemed like a no-brainer.”

For many companies, their largest capital investment is in fixed assets like property, plant, and equipment. With complex tax rules, ever-changing compliance requirements, and assets that are constantly coming in and out of service, managing these processes manually can create a real strain on many businesses.  Using Sage Fixed Assets, companies can leverage technology to automate every step of the fixed asset lifecycle – from acquisition to disposal – to save loads of time, costs, and headaches.

Paul adds, “We’ve already begun supporting several clients on Sage Fixed Assets and are looking forward to expanding this area of our business. When our clients see how powerful this software is, they’ll wonder why they waited so long to ditch the spreadsheets and manual processes. I think this is going to become a significant technology offering for us here at Acumen Information Systems.”
